This game can no longer be downloaded. Take a look at EA Sports FIFA 12 (complete version) instead.
EA Sports FIFA 12 is a Symbian version of the popular soccer game, FIFA 12.
This scaled-down version of the console and PC game boasts several game modes, although you can only play a quick match in this demo version. The full version of EA Sports FIFA 12 allows you to play a full season, as a virtual pro, customize your own cup competition, and train your team. It also includes a free kick challenge and penalty shootout.
Just like the full game, EA Sports FIFA 12 for Symbian allows you to pick from a huge range of officially licensed teams from a variety of top leagues in England, France, Germany, Spain and Italy. EA Sports FIFA 12 also offers plenty of options for customizing your tactics and formations, as well as all the standings and stats.
Sadly, the graphics and gameplay in this mobile version of EA Sports FIFA 12 let the game down. The players are tiny and the animation is very rudimentary. The gameplay suffers from the fact that it can only be played in portrait mode, meaning you don't get much of a view of the pitch ahead of or behind you.
What's more, the controls in EA Sports FIFA 12 are quite fiddly. You touch an area of the screen to make the player run to that direction and tap on a teammate to pass to him. Unfortunately, passing doesn't work well when in motion, so you need to stop before you make a pass, which is annoying to say the least. Tackling in EA Sports FIFA 12 is done by holding your finger on screen to fill up a tackle accuracy gage, which you must do to perfection.
If you're a fan of the series and have a Nokia device, it's worth downloading EA Sports FIFA 12. But this version falls a long way short of the quality of FIFA 12 for iOS.
